Hugh Speer Fellowship Fund

Established in memory of Hugh Speer, the first dean of the School of Education, Social Work and Psychological Sciences, chief expert witness for the plaintiffs in Brown vs Board of Education, and a founding trustee of Johnson County Community College, the Hugh Speer Fellowship Fund is awarded to graduate students interested in studying community college instruction, administration and/or education.
