Awarded to a student pursuing an undergraduate degree in teacher education with at least a 3.0 GPA. Preference to students that are legal residents of one of the eleven metro counties which include Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Wyandotte, Atchison, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Osage, or Shawnee counties in Kansas.
