Awarded to an incoming freshman who graduated from a Kansas City area high school (within the Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area of Kansas City). Applicants must rank in the top 10% of their graduating class at the end of their sixth semester in high school, or, have outstanding talent, as identified by appropriate authorities at UMKC.
