UMKC Student Emergency Fund

The Emergency Fund is designed to provide short-term assistance to UMKC students experiencing unexpected financial emergencies that may jeopardize their ability to continue their studies. Funds may be awarded to help address essential emergency needs; however, they are not intended to cover outstanding tuition, fees, or other university balances. Applications are reviewed weekly, and priority consideration is given to students who have exhausted all available federal and state financial aid resources. Because funding is limited, the Emergency Fund assistance is generally available as a one-time award per student.
