UMKC Adult Learner Childcare Grant

The UMKC Adult Learner Chilcare Grant serves to help relieve some of the financial burden of additional childcare expenses associated with attending college. Awarded to undergraduate degree-seeking students at UMKC who are enrolled full or part-time for the Summer 2026 term. Students must have children for which they are paying childcare expenses. Applicants must have financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Students must write a brief essay and disclose their childcare and financial needs. Grants can be used at/for any childcare service that best meets the needs of the student and their child(ren).

*Once the amount of funding for the UMKC Student Parent Success Grant has been met, the application will be turned off. This grant is for the Summer 2026 term only.
