Derek Moorhead Excellence in Mock Trial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students that are active members of the UMKC Undergraduate Mock Trial Team within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. An eligible student must submit a 500 word essay demonstrating their passion for the Mock Trial Program, have an advanced understanding of the law, and continually desires to grow as a person and leader, must have competed in at least two competitions during the Mock Trial competitive season, be in good academic standing with the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
