Louis & Elizabeth Nave Flarsheim Student Teaching Assistantship Scholarship

Students in the SOM in Years 3-6, for student teaching assistantships. Student recipients would be in good academic standing and express a sincere interest in assisting a faculty member to (1) develop a refine instructional objectives of a course, (2) formulate examination questions, (3) verify and paraphrase reference materials, (4) grade examinations, (5) teach certain basic skills. Student recipients of the teaching assistanship awards would be identified in a given year by the Chair of the Council on Curriculum and recommended for the award with the Dean’s approval. Student recipients would be limited to 20 hours a week in performing these responsibilities.
